Fast & Furious: Album Cover Design

BRIEF
The Fast and Furious franchise has been around for almost 23 years now, entertaining audiences from all over the globe. I have been a fan of the soundtrack for a while and I decided to create my own soundtrack vinyl cover, while focusing on what I liked about the franchise.

Elements I liked were the vibrant neon colours of the cars. I also decided to do something different this time and use different elements of car culture such as tire tracks and paint splashes to really bring the element of a mechanic shop to life.

OUTCOMES
My outcomes would be a new logo (Unlike what has come before), a vinyl cover and any other great bonus items I might want such as a hat and shirt.
Here I started sketching out a new logo using the theme of sport cars, as well as sport car stickers as inspiration for my new logo design. I also tilted my logo being that I wanted something both 'Fast' and 'Dynamic' as well.
Here I started using colours inspired by the cars from the movies, being that the early 2000's had very vibrant neon colours. I experimented with a variation of different ones, while also looking at ones that looked the most legible to read as well. This helped me decide on my final one.
Here I created a little animation of my logo, giving it this element of speed.
Here is my vinyl record design. I used elements from the movie, as well as car culture aspects such as tire tracks and paint splashes suggesting this idea of a car mechanic shop where nothing is clean and it is gritty.
I also created other elements such as a hat which features my logo on it. I thought this would be a great bonus gift if someone was to buy my record in stores.
I also created other elements such as a shirt which features my logo on it. I thought this would be a great bonus gift if someone was to buy my record in stores.
